The spotsylvania school board has voted 6-0 on the removal of any books deemed explicit. Books that contain LGBTQIA material are among those deemed sexually explicit. "Two board members, Courtland representative Rabih Abuismail and Livingston representative Kirk Twigg, said they would like to see the removed books burned.“I think we should throw those books in a fire,” Abuismail said, and Twigg said he wants to “see the books before we burn them so we can identify within our community that we are eradicating this bad stuff.” (Fredericksburg.com). Spotsilvania County School Board says they have a vision for tomorrow, but this is not the tomorrow we need! Censorship cannot continue, not In our schools, not in our communities, not anymore! We have begun to push against it. Today we must push harder. Don't forget to share this with anyone and everyone you can, we will not let this go on any longer, we are in contact with the Fredericksburg city mayor as well as the Spotsylvania County School Board, and we're about to be very inconvenient for them!
