There is a grave issue that trumps all other issues in the world currently and there is one thing that has gone over everybody's head. On streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, the extremely popular song "Funky Town" by Lipps Inc. is sometimes marked as being explicit. This is simply a tragedy and doesn't allow those who refrain from such music to experience the funk from the late 70's. In reviewing the lyrics to the song, it is evident that the song is not explicit at all. This false scarlet letter excludes those potential people from the historical significance this song provides. In a time where inclusivity is at the forefront, this rating is simply anything but. It is not fair to the artists nor the people.
