It came to my attention a while back, that I could no longer listen to “Holding out for a Hero” by Jennifer Saunders, (Shrek 2) or “Car Wash” by Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott, (Shark Tale) on Spotify.

Each of these songs are popular bops and iconic moments in cinematic herstory. It is ESSENTIAL that balance is restored to the universe by returning these tracks to an equally popular streaming platform such as Spotify, so that consumers can enjoy whenever they’d like, and not just when they can’t bare to be apart from these songs any longer and are forced to stream a poor quality version on YouTube. 

I don’t think it’s an impossible goal, and we will be seeking attention and aid from Jennifer Saunders, Xtina, Missy Elliott and more, in order to right this wrong and give the people back what they deserve. 

Also, even though the characters are fairies or fish, they are female. So if you say no, you’re probably a sexist. ��‍♂️
