Brunswick County is the fastest growing county in North Carolina and still growing continuously. We support over 120,000+ citizens here in the county alone, not including all the other citizens that shop here with us from our neighboring counties. We need an Sportsman's Warehouse here in Shallotte, NC urgently. The town of Shallotte is the major retail shopping destination for the whole entire county. Shallotte has a retail trade area of 57,000 people with a medium age of 40.8. We have the need for a outdoor sporting goods retailer here in the County for our camping, fishing and hunting needs. It's been proven that Brunswick County is losing out on $1.6 billion dollars in retail spending from its own citizens going shopping at other places. Real facts prove that places like Bass pro shops and Gander Mountain, Is where the majority of our citizens shop older and young. We need an outdoor sporting goods retailer here. I believe the Sportsman's Warehouse is a perfect fit for us. We are losing out on so much money and jobs that could benefit the citizens, our economy and your company. We have an abundance of citizens and neighboring citizens that want a Sportsman's Warehouse and would support a Sportsman's Warehouse here in the Town of Shallotte tremendously. We all have to travel all the way to Myrtle Beach SC to Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain which is about 50 minutes to an hour out of the way. People from the North Myrtle Beach area wants Sportsman Warehouse to come to Shallotte for their shopping habit. A lot has said Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain is very expensive. All those potential shoppers could bring in a lot of sales for your company. Another good thing is that we would not just pull from the Brunswick County area, we would also pull from the Wilmington, NC area , we would pull people from the Whiteville area who would support it. The Little River area in South Carolina would then have a choice of which outdoor sports store they could shop at. In all honesty we would be the closest Sports outdoor store if you were to come here. That would definitely be a great thing for us and you! If we had a Sportsman's Warehouse here it would be very beneficial to us and everyone else plus for your company as well. The Town Of Shallotte is definitely a great place to grow your business and watch it succeed. I feel that Sportsman's Warehouse should be a great asset for the Town of Shallotte and Brunswick County as a whole. The Town of Shallotte has businesses including big box retail anchor stores like Belk's, Home depot, Lowes home improvement, Wal-mart and big lots, Tractor Supply company, small businesses and industrial businesses as well. I strongly recommend considering bringing a Sportsman's Warehouse here to the Shallotte, NC.
