Help Stop Over Development of Existing Subdivisons in Spokane County SP-1611-17

An application was submitted to the County regarding parcel #55204.0117. This short plat proposes to split an acre lot in our platted subdivision of .78 - 1.24 acre homes into *six* small micro lots (5400 to 7480 sq ft) with a private lane accessing them. The new lot owner purchased in June of 2017 and is not a resident of our development. File # SP-1611-17

This level of over infill development is NOT consistent with our subdivision/neighborhood, even if other residents were to further subdivide their lots.  Further, RCW 58.17.215 should be respected to give the homeowners of our established platted subdivision a voice.  

We are asking Spokane County to NOT approve this preliminary short plat and instead foster respectful, thoughtful and consistent infill development in established subdivisions.
