SpiceJet Flight-Free cancellation/reschedule/refund domestic flight for 1 year#Coronavirus
The Issue
Hello, Due to the recent Corona Virus Pandemic air travel has reduced and become extremely difficult due to flight cancellations and restrictions. Most major airlines in India are providing free cancellations with full refund for Domestic flights and free rescheduling till end of the year to help passengers not lose their money. But it seems SpiceJet just wants to make money in this time. They are providing Free rescheduling only till April 30th for domestic flights for flights booked before March 13th and NO free cancellations and NO REFUNDS as well. this is not fair to passengers who have booked before 13th March. Major events are being cancelled around the world and flights are also being cancelled. Nobody can travel in this time. I think it is the airlines duty to help passengers by providing free cancellation with full refund or free rescheduling till end of year. Currently they provide only till April 30th which is too short. The whole world knows to avoid social distancing and not travel in this period. So it doesn't make sense to keep such a short duration so that people lose their money. I request SpiceJet to show decency and make temporary changes in their regulations as good faith to long time customers and not use this time to make money. FREE CANCELLATION WITH FULL REFUND OR FREE RESCHEDULING TILL END OF THE YEAR OR 6 MONTHS atleast 1 time for passengers who booked before 13th March. It is not a good policy and I Request the airline and CEO MR AJAY SINGH to BE HUMAN and help people in these troubled times.
