Since his incarceration in 2015 at the age of 23, Spencer J. Siroky has dedicated himself to personal growth, accountability, education, and service to others. Over the past decade, he has maintained a disciplinary-free institutional record while consistently pursuing opportunities to become a productive, responsible, and compassionate member of society.

Spencer has earned numerous educational and vocational certifications, including graduating with Distinctive Honors from Blackstone Career Institute’s Paralegal/Legal Assistant program. He has also completed nationally recognized NCCER coursework in electrical and construction, HVAC pre-apprenticeship training, Mental Health First Aid certification, career readiness training through Baylor University’s DEFY entrepreneurship program, and multiple financial literacy and personal development courses designed to prepare him for successful reentry.

His commitment to rehabilitation extends far beyond education. Spencer has successfully completed evidence-based therapeutic programs focused on moral reasoning, victim impact, anger management, restorative justice, and long-term sobriety, which he has maintained since 2016. These programs have strengthened his decision-making, accountability, emotional regulation, and understanding of how his past actions affected others.

Perhaps most notably, Spencer has dedicated much of his incarceration to serving those around him. He has worked as a certified mentor for young incarcerated individuals, a Mental Health Peer Assistant, an Offender Care Aide for vulnerable peers, a GED tutor, and a reentry paraprofessional helping others prepare for successful release. He has also facilitated therapeutic writing programs, recovery groups, and leadership classes while contributing to behavioral health programming and restorative justice initiatives within the institution.

Throughout his incarceration, Spencer has consistently demonstrated leadership, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. His accomplishments reflect years of sustained effort, accountability, and meaningful rehabilitation rather than isolated achievements.
