Excessive speeding and racing are posing a safety concern to neighbors along N. Harborview Drive, Vernhardson Street and ancillary roads.  Residents have shared these concerns with the City of Gig Harbor representatives for over 10 years.  Each round of complaints is met with promises of calming measures and a brief period of increased patrols.  The residents are formally requesting short and long-term solutions to this situation specific to this area.  Those solutions should come with periodic measurement(s) for success.  NOTE:  When you sign the petition please state your name and address for the City’s use.  Vicky Alsaker, 9401 N.
