Spartanburg County residents wanted a proclamation  from the county designating June 4, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) day.  

When organizers from Upstate Pride SC sent a request to Council Chairman Jim Horton for the proclamation he simply replied, "No."

Spartanburg County Council showed a total lack of respect, and it is time to change that. 

Tell the Spartanburg County Council to sign a proclamation declaring June 4, LGBT Day.
