GISH, a world renowned scavenger hunt to raise money for charity, has encouraged GISHers to find places that should be renamed. I feel that Sugar Tit, SC should be renamed. Sugar Tit is sometimes used as a derogatory term towards women. The town was named because old men would gather and gossip in the evenings or in the winter and it was said “they must have a sugar tit up there” since they spend so much time away from home. I suggest it be renamed Sunshine, SC.
