The White Plains City School District is in need of more Spanish translators for Spanish speaking students. Spanish speaking students are constantly pushed to attend classes where english is the only language a teacher speaks leaving them with no way to obtain information. Students who speak Spanish should have the same right as every other student to have the ability to have an education in a language they understand. Spanish translators will also be a greater help for them to learn English just as our French, Italian, and Mandarin teachers helped us learn foreign language for years and helped us become intermediate in a language we thought we could never understand.
