Send Mooncake to space! (test)

The Issue

Humanity has entered a new era of exploration and discovery. With spaceflight becoming part of the private sector, specifically SpaceX whose innovations have changed the way we look at the stars.

On SpaceX's Falcon-9 flights, a small plushie is used as a "Zero-G indicator" rather than record any actual measurements to demonstrate weightlessness in orbit. The little plush will start to float around once the Crew Dragon spacecraft begins to experience weightlessness or microgravity.

Mooncake is the tritagonist of the sci-fi/comedy series Final Space and would make the perfect companion for one of the SpaceX launches to the International Space Station.

Our goal is to get enough of the show's community to support the idea, so that  the next zero-g indicator could be our beloved, planet-destroying little green alien.

We thought of doing this because it would be an excellent idea to send a part of the show/fandom of TBS’s “Final Space” quite literally, into space!

It would spread the word about the show, attracting more people and growing the fandom. And maybe, just maybe, it would also play a part (even if it is small) in space exploration.

It would also give our fandom something to talk about when asked, “What has the Final Space fandom come together to achieve?” We can proudly say that even just a few members can start something incredible, like sending a part of our show into the void of space.

We could get Final Space, to space.

We want to show what can be achieved when even a small group of people can agree on a common goal, even if it might seem trivial.
