The best discount currently available to students is the 16-17 savers card for half price train tickets. The cutoff age for this railcard seems utterly ridiculous considering many students continue their education into their 20s and are unable to afford full price tickets due to their highly demanding timetables. I think that students of ALL ages should have the equal right to cheaper transport. The train companies have been exploiting young people for far too long and it is time for that to change!
