I just want to remind everyone that the goal here is to open the laws up to include these gray areas of fetal health. We’re not trying to advocate for or against abortion, that’s not our fight. What we’re doing here is trying to offer more options to parents who more than likely won’t get to take their children home due to fetal demise or infant loss. Given the compassionate choice, the parents in these situations might have been able to hold their children as they passed. Might have been able to save them depending on location. Removing a child, who is inevitably going to die, from the mothers womb before fetal demise or natural labor occurs, is still considered an abortion. This is not accurate. This is not an abortion. This is compassion for the parents of a unviable child, and compassion for the child itself. Keep up your amazing work, and know how much it’s appreciated.
