Justice for Olivia Rojas and Valeria Espinel: Arrest Justin Cavallo

Justice for Olivia Rojas and Valeria Espinel: Arrest Justin Cavallo
Why this petition matters
On October 24, 2020 at approximately 4:00 AM, Olivia Rojas and Valeria Espinel were killed and Eduardo Jose Elias Calderon was severely injured because they were struck while walking by a vehicle with Justin Cavallo behind the wheel. After hitting the three college students, Cavallo proceeded to crash into a house nearby. The toxicology report revealed that Cavallo's blood alcohol content was 0.13 at the time of the crash. Cavallo was only charged with two misdemeanors: operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration above 0.08 and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was not charged with anything pertaining to the crash itself because according to Tim Spencer, commander of the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team, there is no proof that Cavallo actually caused the crash. The facts are that Justin Cavallo made the decision to drive under the influence and two nineteen year old girls were run over and killed. We demand that he gets charged appropriately.
