These are animals not created for human consumption - PLEASE DO NOT SELL YOUR horse donkey or mule to someone if you haven't checked their background first! There are 'so called' butcheries in South Africa that sell the meat of horses, donkeys and mules to the public with or without their knowing. They are always looking to buy any of the above not stating that they will be slaughtered.  Please, even if you are desparate to sell or find a 'good' home for your equine friend, be sure to do a thorough background check on your 'new' home for your equine friend.  Places where there are known buthcheries are in the Free State, South Africa.  I say it again - DO A THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK ON YOUR ANIMAL'S 'NEW' HOME.
