In our South African community the act of protest has become a normality because it happens so frequently, However this does not justify the fact that it is wrong, especially when protests that are due to "Employer and Employee" disputes harm or cause death upon individuals or animals that have no dealings with this feud. Today is a rather sad day for South Africa as individuals who were protesting purposely caused harm to their employers horses.

These poor horses where stabbed, killed and tortured in their stables and then set a light. Some horses even broke their legs attempting to flee.

As humans we need to have respect for the other creatures that inhabit this earth and have a thing called humanity instilled in us. These poor innocent and harmless animals were targeted and punished for something they had no affiliation with.

This is a direct breach of the animals protection act. This also tells us alot about the current state of knowledge and morals our fellow humans have towards animals. Violence against animals and humans should not be tolerated by anyone. 

Protestors are no exception to the law! They should get a just punishment for breaking the law and committing this cowardly and disgusting act of violence against animals !!!!
