Durante la reunión del 20/1/25 que tuvimos con el Ayuntamiento y el Defensor del Pueblo se discutieron todos los puntos de nuestra petición. Los dos últimos puntos tratan de las cajas de electricidad (que estaban abiertas y expuestas a la intemperie representando un gran peligro para niños y mascotas) y de la limpieza y mantenimiento del sistema dunar y del litoral. Para estos dos puntos, el Ayuntamiento nos refirió a Endesa y a Costas respectivamente.
Nos pusimos en contacto con Endesa para las cajas de electricidad. Endesa respondió confirmando que este punto es responsabilidad del Ayuntamiento. Envíe dicha respuesta al Ayuntamiento quien procedió a cerrar las cajas.
También nos pusimos en contacto con el Servicio Provincial de Costas. El escrito que enviamos ya fue compartido con Uds en una Actualización anterior. Tuvimos que insistir muchas veces con Huelva y el ministerio en Madrid para obtener una respuesta hasta que finalmente se dignaron a responder. Adjunto copia de dicha respuesta. Costas respondió confirmando que este punto es responsabilidad del Ayuntamiento. Ya envié dicha respuesta al Ayuntamiento.

During the meeting we had with the Town Council and the Ombudsman on 20/01/25, all points of our petition were discussed. The last two points deal with the electrical boxes (which were open and exposed to the elements, posing a great danger to children and pets) and the cleaning and maintenance of the dune system and the littoral. For these two points, the Town Council referred us to Endesa and the Provincial Coastal Services, respectively.
We contacted Endesa regarding the electrical boxes. Endesa responded confirming that this point is the Town Council's responsibility. I sent their response to the Town Council, who then proceeded to close the boxes.
We also contacted the Provincial Coastal Service regarding the cleaning and maintenance of the dune system and the littoral. The letter sent to them has already been shared with you in a previous update. We had to repeatedly insist with its Division in Huelva and the Ministry in Madrid for get a response which I am now enclosing. The Coastal Service responded confirming that this point is the Town Council's responsibility. I have already sent their response to the Town Council.
