Resumen de la reunion:

El Ayuntamiento tiene:  

Deuda: €40 millones 

Presupuesto: €23 millones 

Recaudación por IBI: €11 millones 

Gastos de Personal: €13 millones 

En respuesta a nuestros puntos:

• Limpieza de todas las aceras y paseos: del 15/5 al 15/9 tercerizarán la limpieza
• Rehabilitación de las pasarelas a la playa: Tienen un presupuesto de €19.000 y 1 carpintero
• ⁠Rehabilitacion de todos los jardines. PROBLEMA Riego: hay dos tanques de agua. Uno en la rotonda de la Barriada del Moral y otro en la rotonda frente a la antigua oficina de Pryconsa.  Ambos tanques están destrozados por falta de mantenimiento por el Ayuntamiento. Su reemplazo es costoso. Estan pensado reemplazarlos con dos piletas de hormigon. Costo €200.000. Han solicitado asistencia a Pryconsa.
• Reposición de las cubiertas de los asientos de hormigón: Como había vandalismo el Ayuntamiento las retiró (?).  Las van a reponer.
• Rehabilitación y limpieza del area peatonal del puente entre Pta del Moral y la Barriada: Han solicitado asistencia a Pryconsa. Piensan asfaltar la zona peatonal, crear una bicisenda y vallar.
• Aumento de un 50% de las tablas a la playa: Compraran unas pasarelas de red azul para evitar el deterioro y robo. Están completarían las existentes de madera para llegar más cerca de la línea de marea. Pagado con una subvención de la Jta de Andalucía de €90.000.
• Limpieza de las dunas: el Ayuntamiento dice que es responsabilidad de Costas. A veces mandan a alguien cuando hay mucha basura.
• Asfaltado: tienen 2 años para la tarea y un presupuesto de €2.000.000. Ganó la licitación una empresa de fuera. Las empresas perdedoras locales no le venden material. Finalmente el ganador de la licitación consiguió una compañía en Portugal que le venderá el material. Llevan retraso por esta causa. Empiezan en 2 semanas por las avenidas más importantes.  En la Pta Del Moral van a asfaltar solo la Av de la Mojarra en el 2025. El resto en el 2026.  Pedi pasos de cebra elevados o radares.
• Centro deportivo: lo sacaran a licitación
• Peligro electricidad:  Hay cajas de electricidad abiertas y expuestas a la intemperie, con agua dentro etc a lo largo de todo el paseo de Isla del Moral e Isla Canela.  El Ayuntamiento dice que no es su responsabilidad sino de Endesa.
• Hemos solicitado al Ayuntamiento una llamada para monitorear progreso en Marzo.

In response to our points:

• Cleaning of all sidewalks and promenade: from 15/5 to 15/9 they will outsource the cleaning
• Rehabilitation of the walkways to the beach: They have a budget of €19,000 and 1 carpenter
• Rehabilitation of all gardens: PROBLEM Irrigation: there are two water tanks. 1 under the Barriada del Moral roundabout and another under the roundabout in front of the old Pryconsa’s office. Both tanks are destroyed due to lack of maintenance by the Town Council. Its replacement is very expensive. They are thinking of replacing them with 2 concrete pools. Cost €200,000. They have requested assistance from Pryconsa.
• Replacement of the concrete seat covers: As there was vandalism, the Town Council removed them (?).  They are going to reinstate them.
• Rehabilitation and cleaning of the pedestrian area of ​​the bridge between Pta del Moral and La Barriada: They have requested assistance from Pryconsa. They plan to pave the pedestrian area, create a bike path and install a fence.
• Increase of 50% of the boards to the beach: They will buy some blue net walkways to avoid the deterioration and theft. They would complement the existing wooden ones in order to get closer to the tide line. Paid with a €90,000 grant from the Junta de Andalucía 
• Cleaning the dunes: the Town Council says it is the responsibility of another dept (Costas). Sometimes they send someone when there is too much garbage.
• Asphalting: they have 2 years to complete the job and a budget of €2,000,000. An outsider won the tender. The local losing companies do not sell them the materials. Finally, the winner of the tender found a company in Portugal that will supply him with the materials. They are late for this reason. They will start in 2 weeks on the most important avenues. In Punta del Moral they will pave only Av de la Mojarra in 2025. The rest will follow in 2026.  I asked for elevated zebra crossings or radars.
• Sports center: The Town Council will put it out to tender
• Electricity hazard:  There are electricity boxes open and exposed to the elements, with water inside, etc. along the entire promenade of Isla del Moral and Isla Canela.  The Town Council says that it is not their responsibility but that of Endesa
• We have requested a call from the Town Council to monitor progress in March.
