We tried.  We had so many facts to back up everything we said.  We presented material/packets to the trustees to read to support what we were saying.  Who buys property then waits 6-8 months before moving forward to going in front of a Planning Commission?  GasNWash, thats who.  I've been emailed from a stalker who told me they spent all that time working with Wheelings various departments, crossing their "t's" and dotting their "i's" so there was nothing the village could dispute.  By the time GNW went in front of the various boards, it was a "done deal". 

All these meeting backed up that statement.   GasNWash was asked if they are planning on implementing a fleet discount program.  They said "Yes, we will even give the Wheeling Police a 15% discount".  At this juncture of the meeting, any normal person wouldnt dare say something like that as it comes off as an enticement.  Its even on videotape/recording. 

Mentioned many times this is the only site that will be surrounded by residences on all four sides impacting over 170+ families.  GasNWash mentioned many times they didnt know if that statement was true or not.  Finally after a number of other meetings, they said "Yes" and moved onto another question.  Wheeling doesnt care about all the residents in the apartments this will impact as they are only renters.  As for the other residences / people, they dont live in Wheeling at all!   Wheeling doesnt care at all about them.  Nice neighbors huh.   One word to Wheeling: Karma

Look at all the vacant land that Wheeling has.  If this were in any of the other neighboring villages, the land would be snapped up in a minute.  So, my questions is why does Wheeling have a lot of vacant land?  

We are still moving forward with the goal of maintaining a safe environment for OUR neighborhood that is not part of Wheeling.  

Watch out people, they coming to your town next.
