First we don't like how Mike Richards went about securing this position. There are far better candidates for permanent host and we were under the impression we would have the opportunity to weigh in before the decision was made which is clearly not the case. The fact that an executive producer of a television show would even put himself in the running for the position is disgusting, but his lies to the public make Sony's choice even more troubling. Jeopardy! said they would make an announcement in July or August, but still no announcement has been made other than Variety stating that Mike Richards has been chosen as permanent host. So we're left with more confusion and obfuscation which leads one to wonder why the disloyalty to the loyal viewers.
