FFXIV, while a great game, has had gear gender locked and racial locked for a long time. It would help the Glamour Community, if all gear could be unlocked for gender/racial so as to allow people to glamour their gear, regardless of what race/sex their character is. This will impact me in a way as a non-binary person to wear what I want to wear on the characters I play to fit my glamour play style. It targets not just non-binary characters who feel forced in having to chose genders in order to use certain outfits for glamouring, but also the glamour community as a whole, who have to be locked out of a gear style they want to play because they are not Male/Female, Au Ra, Rog, Miquote etc. I think it is time for SE to lose the gender/racial lock and allow us free choice as to wear anything our characters desire. I think it is time, that I should be allowed to wear SAM gear that isn't tied to Male characters or gloves that are male exclusive or that the gear I buy from the Mogstation suddenly becomes unavailable just because I changed the sex of my toon. Please SE, unlock the gear!
