Sony’s PlayStation 5 has gone on sale for pre-order. Yet again scalpers have taken most of the allocation which have almost immediately been listed on sites such as eBay for ridiculous prices up to 5 x value of the console.

i put it to Sony that’s it’s in their interest to put a stop to this by pressuring eBay. There is no further profit in this activity for them and in fact may result in poor game and accessory sales due to the entry price of the console of bought from a scalper.

Sony please Ban eBay from selling these over RRP to give your honest and loyal customers a chance to own the console at launch for the correct price.
