As many people know technology is advancing faster by the year and one major industry in which this is affecting is the gaming industry. Many gamers out there are now upgrading their systems to support higher frame rates at higher resolutions and this is where this campaign fits in. Many gamers out there are starting to upgrade their displays and one of the common upgrade resolutions from a 1080p monitor is a 1440p monitor however, next gen consoles such as the PlayStation 5 unfortunately don’t support 1440p natively which means gamers with 1440p monitors can only experience the PS5 at 1080p upscaled to 1440p which is annoying. After paying £450 I expect the next generation of consoles to support the future years to come and to allow gamers to play the content at their ultimate best for what their setup has to offer and this is why this campaign was created. This campaign is here to show Sony and PlayStation that there is a demand for 1440p native support and that us gamers would love to see it in a system update in the near future.
