The “Little Big Planet” franchise is one that many people hold near and dear to our hearts, but unfortunately over time it like many other games has fallen victim to toxicity in it’s own community. (Not to mention game breaking glitches and the overall feel and direction changing.) However, the one game in the series that stands out among the rest is the very first and original game that started it all, Little Big Planet. 

Little Big Planet, or “LBP” for short, is one of the most influential games of my childhood and early teen years. It allowed me to explore my creativity beyond my wildest fascinations. Now you may be thinking to yourself why not play “Dreams”, dreams whilst and amazing game just is not the same as the lovable 3D side scrolling creative adventure game we all know and love. (Not to take anything away from the Dream devs, it’s an amazing game in its own right but for a slightly different audience.) 

The community has recently been introduced to a project name “Little Big Planet: Restitched” which unfortunately was shut down by Sony threes day prior to this campaign. The reaction garnered from that announcement however was breathtaking. The community not only wants, but NEEDS that classic experience with just a tad more polish. That would allow an entirely new generation of gamers as well as us older ones to experience the core ideas of that classic game that we all know and love.
