CID... These three letters just don't form the name of a show, but a brand with huge popularity and respect. Began its journey along with Sony Entertainment Television, one of the leading GECs in the world. Limca records and Guinness World Record for a continuous single shot episode for 111 minutes, are achievements, which are added as feathers to its cap! The only Indian crime genre show which keeps experimenting with contemporary issues. Sony Entertainment Television, being the show's home channel, keeps neglecting everything that a normal television show deserves, since 2016. Whenever a new show makes its entry, the first thing which gets axed is CID, despite being a one hour, bi-weekly show. Things become worse, when the audience are not even aware of these sudden changes in the schedule. Especially for people who don't have access for other sources of technology. No promotions, no telecast in given schedule, late telecasts, frequent cancellations are the major issues, which are becoming completely intolerable by its ardent viewers and fans. Setting a benchmark in crime - thriller genre, CID had also made initiatives in recognizing real brave hearts and heros through CID - Veerta Awards, and events like Jashn e CID still remain an example for the show's undying popularity. The undying popularity is the result of hardwork and dedication for nearly two decades. Standing with a glory of 21 years! It's not something to be underestimated! Our immense love for this show keeps growing stronger, for the tremendous efforts of people behind the show!

This petition is not a new thing for its viewers, but again, it is an outburst due to the channel's indifference towards the show. Two years! Many things changed in the channel, except this negligence which is sheer insult and injustice to the longest running Indian Television series, which has an ensemble cast of hardworking and experienced actors like Shivaji Satam, Aditya Srivastava, Dayanand Shetty, Dinesh Phadnis, Ansha Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, Narendra Gupta and Shraddha Musale. Their hardwork and dedication should not be deemed through this kind of act by the channel. We are completely fed up with the channel's attitude towards the show. After every alternative weekend, what we receive is complete disappointment. So we, the ardent fans of the show, demand regular telecast of CID on its given slot. Requesting an immediate action from the production house as well as the channel, at the earliest.

With regards,

An ardent fan of the longest running show, CID.
