The Playstation 5 supports the DualShock 4 controller only on Playstation 4 titles today. Sony's statement around this is that: "We believe that PS5 games should take advantage of the new capabilities and features we’re bringing to the platform, including the features of DualSense wireless controller". While it is fair that Sony want to use and show of their new innovative functionality,  it is not a good reason to stop the user from choosing to use the DualShock 4 controller, if they have the need to use a controller with better comfort, but that lacks these new features.

There are multiple threads on reddit about the DualSense causing muscle pains due to it's size and form factor: For me personally the pains are becoming so bad from just a few hours of play per week that I have to stop playing PS5 games entirely.

After making huge strides with accessibility in their games, this feels like a huge step back for Sony. Therefore they should remove the artificial limitation on which controller to use with their games, support their player base, care about their players health and allow their players to choose and tailor the experience to enjoy their Playstation in the way that is best for them.
