La humilde comunidad Diaguita Kallchaki Chuchagasta de Cafayate, provincia de Salta, Argentina, se enfrenta actualmente al desalojo de su hogar ancestral. Esto ha dejado a 18 miembros de la familia sin hogar ni sustento.

Instamos a la municipalidad local a apoyar un nuevo juicio para los Diaguita Kallchaki Chuchagasta. Es de suma importancia que también permitan a la familia regresar a su hogar en el ínterin de los procedimientos del nuevo juicio.

The humble community of Diaguita Kallchaki Chuchagasta in Cafayate, Salta Province, Argentina is currently facing eviction from their ancestral home. This has left 18 family members without a home and livelihood. The dismissal of their rights fails to recognize and respect the indigenous communities of our county.  

We urge the local municipality to support a re-trial for the Diaguita Kallchaki Chuchagasta. It is of paramount importance that they also allow the family to move back into their home in the interim of the proceedings of the re-trial.
