The Case Against Donald Ameen Raynor

The Case Against Donald Ameen Raynor
The Issue
How I “Donald Raynor” was MALICIOUSLY PROSECUTED:
There were 45 charges against me that ultimately got litigated/reduced to 1 charge. All due to Jose Rivera; a 3x murderer, self professed liar, who intended to murder me, who killed my cousin, while letting another person take the blame. As long as he implicated me, he would receive 25 years. This is who and what they rely on.
Recently on December 4th, 2020 “The Case of Donald Amen Raynor” resulted in a 6 to 0 ruling at CT Supreme Court to overturn my conviction and ordered a new trial.
To give further background and as mentioned above, my name is Donald Raynor. I’m a lifetime resident of Hartford, CT. I am 36 years old. I’m a son, brother, father and an uncle. I am a determined individual fighting for the truth!
On June 14th, 2013 I was arrested on 45 charges including, murder conspiracy to commit murder and illegal possession of a firearm for which the charges were litigated down to just 1 charge of murder.
The government ''threw the kitchen sink'' at me so to speak, with charges they knew they couldn't prove. To the extent of signing warrants one (1) week before the statue of limitations (SOL) of 5 years ran its course. Even after the SOL concerning the conspiracy and firearm possession; knowingly filing charges they legally couldn't prosecute.
My original bond was set at 25 million making it insurmountable/impossible to post so I could fight from home with access to up-to-date law libraries. After my first trial ended in a mistrial, I was subsequently retried which ended in a conviction. The government proposed to dismiss all other frivolous/insubstantial charges if I plead guilty to the transfer of firearms, in exchange for 5 years for a total effective sentence of 60 years. To avoid being further steamed rolled, I conceded/accepted.
I appealed my conviction all the way up to the CT Supreme Court. With the help of my dear lawyer Andrew O'Shea and 4 Innocence Projects interventions, my conviction was overturned in a 6 to 0 decision in two parts which connect; 1) junk science of ballistics according to the National Academy of Science 2) connecting an extraneous crime some 8 months after the alleged murder, by convincing a bereaved mother over the death of her son that I shot at her.
Fortunately, the CT Supreme Court seen through this ploy and removed half of the states case and ordered a new trial. The case against me was weak at best and it’s now holding on by a thread.
After 8 years of litigation and a substantial amount of financial depletion, my bond is still unreasonably high at 1.5 million. Help me to post bond so that I have a better chance to combat malicious prosecution. My goal is 100k and no donation is too small.
For more background, see case law state v. Raynor 330Conn(2018).
Thank you,
Ameen
