We are supposed to get 2 inches of “snow” on the day of 1/23/24, which obviously isn’t enough for a snow day BUT the “snow” isn’t snow. It’s ice, which may cause the roads to be very slippery and unsafe, meaning it would be dangerous for bus drivers AND the students on the bus, Plus parents who drive their kids in the morning. Not to mention, the ice may break windshields and might cause all sorts of accidents on main roads. Having a day off would mean less risk of accidents, and plus students would have a full day to review for upcoming exams and finals, this would be very beneficial to all students that plan to pass their exams, and beneficial to parents and bus drivers by preventing accidents on the roads.
