Dear Supporters – I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for signing this important petition. Please note the following if you’ve not gotten an invite for tomorrow's hearing.
Please plan to attend the Public Hearing in person(1st floor Drewel Bldg, 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett) or via Zoom tomorrow, Dec 14, at 1 pm for a Hearing to include public comment on the Snohomish Garden Town Homes (aka Paradise Lk Rd Garden Apartments). SnoCo essentially resurrected this project with a new name following Washington State legislation(SHB 2673) and their creation of a Snohomish County Ordinance for an Infill exemption, meaning it is not subject to SEPA rules. However, this project cannot be considered Infill. The State never meant Infill to include a massive development like this, but rather a small portion of vacant land between developed properties.

Comment on the Snohomish Garden Townhomes (196 units). If you’ve commented on the previous project (Paradise Lk Garden Apts, (362 or 220 apts)) but not this one, please note it will not apply. Snohomish Garden Townhomes is a new project BUT with the same issues. Nothing has changed since 2019 - horrific traffic concerns, limited emergency vehicle access, over-capacity schools, no infrastructure, etc. Please send your new/revised comments to joshua.machen@snoco.org, reference project #22-116648 PSD/SPA, Snohomish Garden Townhomes, and ask to be made a party of record.
