The reason why I started this petition is because of the dangers of being unaware. In many scenarios it can be life-threatening to be on the snap map. Anyone on your friends list has the ability to see your location, street name, how long ago you where there etc. Not only that but they’ve added a feature where you can use your phone as a compass to see which direction your friend is in. Anyone with bad Intentions are given the opportunity to kill, rob, hack, and stalk others with this feature on the Snapchat app. Yes there is a ghost mode where your location can be concealed, but frequently mine has been turned off without my permission. Not only is this a risk for adults but even more of a risk for kids who aren’t aware of this feature. Anyone could impersonate a young girl, add your daughter on Snapchat, then track them at any time. As Americans we need to get a grip on our constituted rights of privacy. LETS MAKE A CHANGE !
