People today, especially teens, have become obsessed with social media. A popular platform of media is Snapchat. This app is known for its “streak snaps”. It’s barely used as a form of interaction anymore, and solely used as a point system. Users abuse the streak feature and send pictures just accumulate a higher streak number. This petition is not meant to take away the streak feature, but rather to get people to interact more frequently without sending “streak snaps”.
