Snap chat is widely used by all people these days. However, this app promotes a lot of poor behavior among our youth.  I feel there should be tighter restrictions on the way the app is set up to provide a safe environment. First, the app offers flirty filters that gives a message that hiding behind a filter is what pretty is, not you yourself. There are also other filters for example, one sucking milk from cow otters, this sends a sexual message. Third, there is a part of the app that is titled, "my eyes only".  This is secured with a password so parents can't see saved photos and videos that have been shared. Last, if not set up correctly this app also allows others to see your child's exact location. Not to mention cyberbullying and the message that they think it is deleted right away.  I feel this popular app provides a gateway access to pedophiles and the wrong message to children. I ask Snap chat to not only make the sign up process more challenging, but to create a safer app for our children who are being exposed and allowing too much of a hidden way to save things and filter themselves instead of being themselves.  Let's create a strong confident youth!
