Save Smyra Airport

Save Smyra Airport
The Issue
We are pilots, Aviators, businessmen and women, and tenants of Smyrna Airport. Smyrna Airport is a vital part of Rutherfords' economy. The Airport pumps $232 Million into the local economy and creates 1,526 Jobs at $92.5 Million of Payroll. These are our neighbors and this economic impact is vital to the post-Covid economy.
Recent pay hikes by the airports FBO have created an untenable situation for airport tenants, and business owners.
The FBO needs to communicate with the airport, and airport staff before incasing rates. If the FBO, Hollingshead continues with this unsustainable practice, common airport users will be hurt.
The airport is a community of pilots who help the community, with charitable activities and help deliver aid to the rural parts of Tennessee.
Aviation needs to be accessible for the community to be a viable asset of Tenneseess infrastructure. We ask for your support to make aviation accessible for common people in Tennesee.
