Starting from May 29th, 2023, Smule product team has notified via it's product release blog (Smule Blog) that it plans to enforce 7-day expiration for duet-invites and it plans to remove the flexibility of joining older invites. 

The Smule platform brings people like us together who share a deep love for music. It must encourage connection & collaboration. But the 7-day expiration for duet-invites is very restrictive, regressive and makes it difficult for us to keep up with invitations.

If you agree, sign this petition urging Smule to revoke this restriction.

As active singers on the Smule platform and with several 1000s of collabs and followers in our respective networks, we are all very closely connected by our love for music and via this wonderful platform.

Ability to join older invites gave us the freedom to not miss out on some very good invites of singers we used to follow. And similarly, our followers also had the liberty to catch up and join our invites when they found time. 

However, this new announcement is very restrictive and will have a very huge impact on our biggest social hobby. Being patrons and avid users of the platform for several years, we hereby request Smule to revoke this restriction and enable us to join older invites, by signing this petition and making our voice heard
