Hello Everyone! This is the most consequential election of our lifetime and there is a shortage of poll workers across this country due to Covid-19. The predominate age group that has worked polling places over the last decade are people that are 65+ years of age. Due to their higher risk of complication from Covid-19 many are unable to return to work for this election. But more than ever we need people to work. College age students have a drastically smaller change to have complications from Covid-19 exposure and WE NEED TO STEP UP. Our generation will face the consequences of this election for YEARS to come and it is our duty to serve our country and make sure EVERY. SINGLE. VOTE. IS. COUNTED. We must do this more now than ever. Please sign this petition so that President Turner excuses all absences of students wanting to serve this country and work the poll places on November 3rd!!!!
