Much loved Yarm-On-Tees neighbourhood, once a tranquil haven of serenity, peace and prosperity is rapidly being overshadowed by a sinister, shady growing menace — Anti-social, Illegal, Unlawful drug dealing and widespread cannabis smoking.  The classy, upmarket, historic enclave is noticeably becoming tainted by the oppressive repugnant odour of drugs, affecting residents quality of life as well as foul mouthed aggressive druggies, zombie like junkies, dope intoxicated layabouts sticking two fingers at establishment in sneering arrogance and impunity, whilst dragging the whole area down with their unclean manners. 

The stench of Cannabis/Weed smoke fills the air day and night, making it virtually impossible to enjoy their own private garden spaces, have visitors,  friends round or even open windows without the risk of exposure to second-hand foul reeking odour that clings on to clothes and infiltrates properties.

Imagine such beautifully constructed areas of the community plagued by individuals blatantly dealing and using drugs.   This isn't just a matter of inconvenience; it's a significant health and safety threat to one and all.   As concerned residents, we strongly object and say Enough is Enough ! 

 "Smoke-Em-Out" intends to hunt them down, track, expose and blow their cover to smithereens, utilising all necessary avenues available, vantage points, social media, TV campaigns, local authorities, councillors, especially and particularly the police, eventually running them outta town back to wherever they've come from.   We're not about to meekly accept such trash amongst majority good self respecting folk, some even have impressionable easily led kids with very young families, whilst mingling amongst new build property owners who simply want better lives for themselves as well as their loved ones.   We unite and say it again  "SMOKE-EM-OUT"  

Detailed studies have shown that prolonged exposure to cannabis/Weed smoke can adversely affect health, particularly for children and the vulnerable, it frazzles the minds of users leading to chaos,  turbulence and frequent incidents of extreme violence.  Our "Smoke 'Em Out" campaign aims to work with local law enforcement and community leaders to take concrete steps.  We're proposing even demanding increased patrols, surveillance cameras in hotspot areas and community watch programs to deter drug-related activities.  

Educational campaigns in schools and neighborhoods can doubtless raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and encourage community members to report suspicious activities, which will aid in ushering each and every one of the fast growing number of undesirable 'low-lives' towards the exit door.  They're scum and most certainly not welcome around here.  

Moreover the presence of these dealers and users has vastly increased the risk of crime, making once-safe streets feel uneasy, especially during nights and weekends.  It's time to reclaim our community before the revered name of Yarm-On-Tees is destroyed forever.

Rest assured and make no mistake about the seriousness of this battle, this is a major fight  maybe even a 'war' for our community’s future.   Well meaning folk need to act now to preserve the integrity and safety of this beloved neighbourhood.
