We would like to know how many residents with SECONDARY students (6-12) in the Smithtown Central School District want their children in school, in person, five days a week.  Recently a member of the Board of Education expressed to the local media that he is unsure that many parents want their kids in school full-time, in person.  The Smithtown Board of Education Watchdog Group believes that this is an excuse to keep our kids in a hybrid model of education.  We believe that the overwhelming majority of secondary parents want full time, in person learning for their kids.  We also believe that the school district will not do their own survey, so we are going to do one for them! Please sign this petition if you have a student currently enrolled in secondary school and you want your child to go back to school, in person, five days a week.  Spouses should sign this petition separately.  Every tax paying resident of Smithtown who has a child in secondary school is eligible to sign.  Thank you!
