Tuesday 3-7-2017 9:50 p.m. Eastern Time Greetings Everyone! Just about 24 hours ago, I started this petition on change.org to reunite Bei Bei with his mother Mei Xiang. As all of you are aware, these 2 beautiful pandas live at The National Zoo in Washington, D.C. I myself have lived in D.C. for 24 years & I have frequently visited the zoo over the years. As I wrote in the petition, my last visit was this past Saturday 3-4-2017. What I saw & heard there that day bothered me so much all weekend, and all day yesterday (Monday). So last night I had to do something about it, and I started this petition. I want to let you know that I have read every single comment that has been left here & that I am amazed so many people have signed in such a short period of time. And we have people from all of the world who have chimed in. Thank you so much for all of your support! Lastly, a few people have wondered if I set a goal for the signatures. When I created this petition, I was never asked to set a goal, and I was never allowed to choose one. So rest assured, the sky is the limit for us! Please share with all of your panda (and animal) loving friends & family. :) One last note, if anyone is wondering, the picture on the petition was taken by me.
