AIR Quality of surat has become from bad to worse. Major reason being is waste burning in open fields which releases number of harmful flu gases and suspended particles responsible for SMOG in the city. There is a strange smell in the air which is due to these illegal burnings. We request to the local & state authorities to declare this as a criminal offence as smog is also responsible for deaths and impose INR 50,000 penalty on offenders.
