The City of Bakersfield recently released their station area plan vision for downtown. This is the city's vision for the F Street Station (even though a decision on the station location and the alignment has not been made). The vision calls for multiple high-rise towers (up to 35 stories) at Garces Circle, on San Joaquin Community Hospital property, and on F Street. Please join us is telling the city that we do not want a station at F Street or this type of development at F Street and Golden State Avenue ... and that instead this development should be concentrated in the downtown core.
