Whereas other Saskatchewan school divisions such as Regina Public School Division allow their School Community Councils (SCC) to conduct Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority licensed electronic raffles and 50-50 draws for benefit of kids attending their schools.

Whereas these licensed SCC fundraisers raise tens of thousands of dollars every year for one group, the kids attending each school.

We hereby request that the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division board of trustees amend the necessary policies at the March 23, 2026 board meeting to permit this type of fundraising to be used by all School Community Councils within the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division.
