Hi!
In this day and age it’s really important that we can watch whatever TV series and films we want, on whatever device we want, with subtitles.
I’m really proud of what my Sky petition has achieved. But people with hearing loss like me will continue to miss out, because there’s still no law telling on-demand providers (including Channel 4, ITV, Sky, Virgin and BT TV) to provide subtitles.
That’s why 76% of on-demand and catch up services in the UK offer no subtitles at all!
Please tell the UK government why subtitles are so important!
In Theresa May’s new government there’s a new minister in charge of broadcasting. Along with charity Action on Hearing Loss, I’m hoping we can show Matt Hancock MP why subtitles are essential, and ask him to make a difference.
Please sign the petition here: http://goo.gl/7dEYBJ
Many thanks, Jamie
