We hope you've had a good Easter! We've got some news to bring and unfortunately it is not good news. Ed Vaizley, Minister for State for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries has decided that no action was required for our case which was put forward. Our case, Subtitle It! was backed by several MP's across the country and promoted by me, Action on Hearing Loss and other media outlets in this department. The government has decided no legislation was required to be put in place for providers to subtitle their On Demand content. This means the likes of Sky, Virgin and NowTV are not required by law to subtitle on demand content. This is incredibly distressing as a lot of people are turning to On Demand but are left out due to this. You may see the full article by Action On Hearing Loss about the government's overview on Subtitle It! and we'd like to know your opinions please on this. https://www.actiononhearingloss.org.uk/get-involved/campaign/access-to-television/subtitle-it/the-campaign-so-far/government-decision-on-subtitles-april-2016.aspx Many thanks Jamie
