Hello there fellow humanoids and fellow folks who enjoy using SkipTheDishes :)

During this strange time with all the restrictions and fear, restaurants have been really hit hard.... People don't eat out like they used to. BUT, they are sure ordering out more than EVER before! 

The dilemma is this, when patrons order from SkipTheDishes, their delivery drivers get ALL the tips that are given by the people ordering. 

The problem with that is wait staff and cooks who typically make barely enough to survive on when just receiving regular wages, are completely left out of any gratuity given by the customer. 

The majority of the work is done AT THE RESTAURANT, so why, oh why, does all the tip go to the driver? 

The tips wait staff and cooks get makes a HUGE difference in their livelihood so this needs to looked at.

With barely anyone sitting down to eat, its been a rough go for waitstaff and cooks. 

I am petitioning SkipTheDishes to either split the tip they receive from the customer between the restaurant being ordered from and the driver, that is fair. 

The other option could be that they change the tipping format on their website to include a space for tipping the restaurant also. (I believe people would be more considerate and understanding going this route.) 

Please do the right thing! :)
