This building having no AC is potentially dangerous for all residents inside. There is a constant threat of students overheating and/or experiencing a heat stroke. The building being old is not an excuse for this blatant neglect!

This has been an issue for years now. They had all sorts of new buildings, renovations, & projects done, yet this one issue still persists! How long until someone is severely injured or worse due to the heat in that building, if it hasn't happened already? It's practically an oven in there. 

SJSU claims to care about all of its students, yet allows freshmen & others to endure living in the Joe West building without something as basic as AC, knowing that San Jose weather can get extremely hot.

All students deserve the right to be treated with care and respect, as well the ability to live on-campus comfortably regardless of which building you're staying in. This includes access to proper AC.
