We are parenting group from SJKC FOON YEW 1 would like to raise awareness for traffic calming in school zone and increase safety for all road users.

 

After discussion with school and PIBG, they acknowledge that and a few trial and communications is actually been done in the pass with local YB and some respective authority years ago, but they are given excuses as they need further investigation and discussion. We have been waiting for so long but no action or any speed calming solution taken by the authority as of now. 

 

Throughout the year, many unnecessary hits and injury happens in fact it can be avoided. 

 

Among all the speed calming solution, we prefer Road Hump to be install in school zone. As many results shown that road hump have proven in many residential and commercial zone, it able to slow down vehicle speed efficiently.

 

Our hope for raising this Petition is to get the respective authority hears our voice and install road hump at JALAN KEBUN TEH. 

We hope the result can :

 

To reduce speed

To minimise accident

To reduce noise

Promote safety for students and road users

 

All lives matters.
