Larger restraints or weight limit notice for popular coasters at Six Flags over Georgia.
The Issue
I purchased Six Flags memberships and was not informed of the small restraints on most of the popular coasters. Instead I was publicly humiliated when I attempted to board popular rides such as Dare Devil Dive, Twisted Cyclone, the mine train, Blue Hawk, and other popular rides.
Last year I rode the Batman and was not properly checked before the ride started. As the ride went upside down for the final time my harness came up. The ride attendant told me “it happens”. The team at Six Flags refuses to take people seriously.
If it is a health concern it needs to be posted before purchasing tickets and if it is not than it is just discriminating against above average people.
I am asking for the public to help address this issue. As a 260lb woman with children it is embarrassing to be told that I could not ride the steel coasters because I am above the average size.
The attendants themselves are very rude when telling you that you are too large and they act as if it is an inconvenience while they are humiliating you in front of your friends, family, and random strangers.
I am hoping that this petition reaches enough people that have also had this problem so that they can either get the compensation they deserve or a chance to enjoy the park with their family.
