I, personally, have always thought that there should be an early 2000’s “Emo” music station on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. One station that consistently plays bands like The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Lower Definition, Thursday, My Chemical Romance, A Day To Remember, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Paramore, Coheed and Cambria, Panic! At the Disco, Brand New, Saves The Day, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last, Senses Fail, The Spill Canvas, AFI, Silverstein, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Story of the Year, and many, many more!
After having this conversation with many other people, I found out that so many other people just locally feel the same way I do. So there must be so many more around the country and beyond that would love this too.
I am petitioning that SiriusXM add an “Emo Radio” for the millions that love this genre of music, since there are SO many channels that all play the same exact today’s pop playlists, with the same songs. Let’s bring back these songs and artists that is not so few and far in between the other songs on Lithium, and Liquid Metal.
And if nothing else, at least give it a trial period to see how many listeners will be listening.
Thank you!
